We know that talking about domestic and family abuse is hard. When you contact Safe Haven Community, you will talk to a trained counsellor who will listen and support you in what feels right for you and your situation.

Counselling provides a safe place to discuss, explore and work through experiences of abuse and violence. The support and information you gain through counselling can play an important role in your journey towards healing from the impact of domestic and family violence.

Confidential appointments are conducted over the phone and last for about one hour in duration and are offered free of charge.

If you are interested in making an appointment, please phone us on 1800 042 836

Our staff will gather information to assist in identifying how to best respond to your needs. This involves talking with you about what is or has been happening. This information is passed to our counsellors who will contact you within 24 hours and if appropriate for your needs, will offer you confidential counselling support.
