These services provide vital assistance ranging from emergency accommodation and financial support to counselling, legal help, and long-term recovery programs.

DV Connect

DV Connect helps Queenslanders find pathways to safety, away from domestic, family and sexual violence. They provide emergency transport and accommodation for your entire family including pets. Asssitance can be limited at times due to demand.

Micha Projects

BDVS is the regional Domestic and Family Violence support service for people living in Brisbane. They provide a range of free and confidential services for people who are experiencing or are at risk of domestic and family violence.

Leaving Violence Program

The Leaving Violence Program can support you to leave an intimate partner who is violent through support packages that offer financial and other supports. The Program is available to support those who are eligible regardless of gender or visa status.

Services Australia

You may be able to get a Crisis Payment if you’ve experienced a family or domestic violence incident.

1800RESPECT is the national domestic, family and sexual violence counselling, information and support service

Serving Our People

Free Service that allows Gold Coast and Logan locals to collect essential non-perishable groceries, fresh fruit and vegetables, frozen meals and household items, when in need.

Protea Place

Based in Toowoomba, Protea Place Women's Support Centre provides support, dignity and safety to vulnerable women.

HEART 4000

HEART 4000 is part of Comunify and is a leading provider of housing support services in Brisbane. Based in Fortitude Valley, they work with people who may be experiencing homelessness or at risk of becoming homeless.

Domestic Violence Action Centre

DVAC provides free and confidential services for people experiencing domestic, family, and sexual violence in their catchment areas within South East Queensland.

St Vincent De Paul Society

Women’s Community Shelters works with local communities to establish new safe crisis accommodation options for women and children.

DV NSW is the peak body for specialist domestic and family violence services in New South Wales

Link2home is the NSW information and referral telephone service for people who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. From 9am to 10pm daily, Link2home provides callers with information, assessments and referrals to homelessness support and accommodation services.

Nova supports women, (with or without children) in Lake Macquarie and the Western suburbs of Newcastle, who are homeless, at risk of homelessness, or escaping domestic or family violence.

Women Up North is a Northern NSW service for women, children and young people who have experienced domestic or family violence or abuse. We are based in the Northern Rivers, working from Grafton to Tweed Heads.

The Women’s Domestic Violence Court Advocacy Service is a free, local service that supports women and children who are experiencing family violence or domestic violence. We have a specialist worker to help Aboriginal women, and we also help women from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.

The St Vincent de Paul Society operates both residential and non-residential domestic and family violence services in NSW. Crisis accommodation and support is available throughout NSW.
