Broncos shines spotlight on Safe Haven Community.

Congratulations to Denise Hunter and all the Safe Haven team.

Denise and Heather from Safe Haven with Broncos legend, Lote Tuqiri

As you already know, Denise's work with Safe Haven Community was recognised by the Brisbane Broncos and NRMA Insurance, with a Queensland Local Heroes award earlier this month.

The NRMA Insurance Broncos Queensland Heroes is a community initiative that acknowledges and celebrates the role of members of Queensland that have gone above and beyond to help their communities.

As part of the recognition, 14 members of her team were on hand at the Broncos vs Penrith game on 16th August, where a video of Denise, and the work Safe Haven does was shown on the big screen during the match.

Denise said "While it was wonderful to be recognised for the work we do, It was a very special to be able to invite just a few of our incredible providers to be spoilt by the wonderful people at the Brisbane Broncos and and be guests of NRMA insurance.

Thank you to NRMA and the Broncos for shining the light on the work we do at Safe Haven and making it such a wonderful night.

Brisbane defeated Penrith 24-12 in a very entertaining match.
