Safe Haven features on A Current Affair

Updated: May 19, 2020

Following on from the story that features Safe Haven in the prominent national magazine Marie Claire, Executive Director Jaeneen Cunningham was interviewed by a journalist from Channel Nine recently. The lengthy interview was conducted several days ago online and went into a lot of depth about the service we provide.

The story ran on A Current Affair on Friday 15 May as part of a wider report on some of the things people are trying to do to assist women in domestic abuse. Though it was limited, it was great exposure for The Safe Haven Community and the work we do. We received a lot of feedback from community members and others who managed to see the story as it ran on Friday night.

The report can be viewed on the Channel Nine website.

Thanks go to Bec Derrington at Source Bottle for helping arrange the interview.
