ABC Brisbane talks to Safe Haven about our room sharing initiative to help protect women

Continuing to promote the work of Safe Haven Community, our Executive Director, Jaeneen Cunningham was interviewed by Kelly Higgins Devine on ABC Brisbane's 4QR on Monday night.

Jaeneen was in Sydney ahead of her appearance on Studio 10 the next day, so the interview was conducted from the ABC studios in Ultimo.

Kelly began the interview by asking "if you had a friend who needed a safe place to stay, would you offer them a room in your home?"

Judging by the increase in the number of room registrations we saw that night, and the spike in calls to our 1800 Number from people making general enquiries, I guess the answer was, yes.

Become a Safe Haven Community Provider, register your room today and help a women in need find a safe place to stay.
